Clifford "Cliff" Hill Obituary:

Clifford “Cliff” Eugene Hill, 73, of Fairborn, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Soin Medical Center. He was born on July 29, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Donald Eugene and Dorothy (Payne) Hill.

Cliff had worked at Fulmer’s Supermarket in Springfield for over 30 years, until their closing. He then retired from Assurant Solutions. He loved going to church. He was a member of Crosspoint Church in Springfield for over 40 years and then enjoyed attending Redemption Christian Tabernacle in Tipp City after moving. In his free time, he enjoyed playing the guitar.

Cliff will be remembered most for the love he had for his family. He found his greatest joy in being a dad and Pappy. He loved spending time with his grandchildren—playing with them, making them laugh, and watching them grow. He had a playful spirit and was always up for a little roughhousing, creating memories that will be cherished forever. He was also incredibly proud of his children and treasured life’s special moments shared with them.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie (Gearhart) Hill; three children, Christopher Eugene (Kimberly) Hill, Jason Gearhart (Heather) Hill, and Amber (Scott) Mattimore; grandchildren, Zeke, Jace, Zaden, Savannah, and Abigail; sisters, Alta Kinnamon and Dawn Casdorph; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm Friday in the Crosspoint Church, 3333 E. National Rd., Springfield. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home. Condolences may be shared online at www.jkzfh.com. Service is Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11:00 am at Conroy Funeral Home, 1660 E. High Street, Springfield, Ohio.
