Newly renovated SIU Medicine facility opens in Decatur Community leaders and healthcare officials gathered Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the new multi-specialty medical office building.

Congratulations to Kristina Spencer on her recent promotion to Accounts Payable! Kristina started at O’Shea in December 2024 and has since transitioned into the accounts payable position. Kristina says her favorite part of the role is working alongside a great team, expanding her knowledge of construction, and supporting the delivery of exceptional construction experiences.

Kristina says that a major highlight while working for O’Shea has been growing professionally in a field she didn’t anticipate, all while being part of a company with 125 years of proven success.

We are excited to welcome Kelly Gust to the O’Shea team! Kelly is joining the People Operations department as Talent Development Business Partner. In her role, Kelly will create and implement talent programs while serving as a trusted partner on people-related issues, ever-improving the employee experience. Kelly spent the last six years as the owner of HR Full Circle Consulting. Prior to that she led learning at Hanson and H.D. Smith. Kelly has worked with the University of Illinois Research Park as the HR Expert-In-Residence and her articles have been featured in the Springfield Business Journal.

On joining O’Shea Builders, Kelly says, “O'Shea has a great reputation not only for construction, but for creating a great place to work. O'Shea takes pride in developing employees and providing opportunities for people to be their best. I'm excited to join this legacy!”
