It is with great pride that we share some wonderful news: Carrie DeGray has been named Paraeducator of the Year!

Carrie began her journey at Springfield International Charter School in 1997 and is one of the longest-tenured members of our SICS family. Throughout her many years of service, she has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our students and school community.

Carrie has a heart of gold and puts students first in everything she does. Whether she is greeting students during morning bus drop-off, supporting them in the classroom, or lending a helping hand wherever it is needed, she brings kindness, patience, and positivity to every interaction. It is impossible not to notice the smiles that light up students' faces when they see her.

In addition to the incredible care she shows our students, Carrie is the definition of a team player. She is always willing to step up, volunteer her time, and go above and beyond to support her colleagues and our school. Her dedication, compassion, and work ethic make a lasting impact on everyone around her.

The students, families, and entire staff at SICS are truly fortunate to have Carrie as part of our team. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved honor and thanking her for nearly three decades of exceptional service to our school community.
