This year at Commencement, Professor Z shared how he came to STCC after immigrating from Jordan, first taking ESL classes on our campus before becoming the beloved engineering professor so many students know today.
For nearly 40 years, he has been part of STCC’s story — and this moment reminded us why stories like his matter.

Free Family Event: Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps Performance at Springfield Armory National Historic Site.
Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with an afternoon of patriotic music and family fun on the grounds at STCC on Sunday, July 12, 1 to 2 p.m. for a free performance by the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps from Michigan.
Children can create their own tricorn paper hats, and every visitor will receive a free hand-held American flag while supplies last to help celebrate the spirit of America 250.
