Dear Memorial Blvd Merchants:
The holidays are just around the corner, and I know that it is a busy time for all of us. Our city works diligently to provide a festive environment for all to enjoy, from the Winter Wonderland at J. Travis Price Park to the decorations down our city streets.
I have been in business on Memorial Blvd (The Gallery of Artistic Hair Design) since 1995 and I have always wanted to form an alliance with my Memorial Blvd neighbors, to work together and promote our city and local businesses. Yes, it has taken me a long time to work towards that dream and I finally moved forward in 2022. We are striving to “light-up” our Memorial Blvd. for the holidays. I would like to personally, invite you to join us as we move forward to orchestrate this adventure for the 3rd year
We, successfully, lit up a portion of Memorial Blvd. for the past 2 years. The winner of our Prestigious Traveling Trophy the first year went to State Farm Insurance, Beth Null Dorris. Last year, 2023, the Prestigious Traveling Trophy and $1000.00 was awarded to True Beauty Co. Salon and the Second place, $500 was awarded to State Farm Insurance, Beth Null Dorris.
This year, again, along with the trophy, the WINNER will receive a $1,000.00 gift certificate (Donated by Christmas Done Bright, a local business in Springfield). The SECOND PLACE WINNER will receive a $500.00 cash prize (Donated by The Gallery of Artistic Hair Design). The THIRD PLACE winner will be awarded $250.00 cash prize (Donated by Penny Callis, Realtor - Legacy Signature Properties). The winners will be announced on all city media sites.
Just imagine the “energy” we can establish if we all decorate and “light up” our businesses. Can I get a commitment from you? Join in the fun, we are going to have our Third annual “Merry Little Christmas Light Up” competition. Please don’t delay in contacting us. We will need ALL entry forms in no later than November 25, 2024 to be eligible for judging on the weekend of 12/6 – 12/8. There is NO ENTRY FEE for this contest. All participants will receive a SPECIAL OFFER of 20% off items from Christmas Done Bright’s Springfield Location.
