To sunscreen or not to sunscreen… the better question is: what’s actually IN your sunscreen? ☀️

When it comes to kids especially, we know the real challenge is finding something they’ll actually let you put on 😅

We prefer mineral-based sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide over chemical sunscreens with heavy fragrance loads and unnecessary ingredients.

There are so many better options now that come in lotions, sticks, and quick spray forms that help reduce overall toxin exposure while still being realistic for busy families.

Like most things in health, it’s all about making informed choices and lowering your overall toxic burden where you can!

Men’s Health Month is a good reminder that consistency matters more than perfection.

Consistency in how you care for your body, how you move, and how you care for your mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Research consistently shows that physical activity supports mental health, stress resilience, mood, and overall well-being.

Studies have found that even small amounts of regular movement can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in men — and that doesn’t have to mean spending an hour in the gym.

Start with 5–10 minutes, go for a walk, lift weights, golf, or work outside. Find something you genuinely enjoy and can keep coming back to.

As a man, your health impacts more than just you. Your energy, mindset, and ability to show up for your family are all connected to how well you’re taking care of yourself.

You deserve to feel healthy, grounded, and supported, for yourself and for the people who count on you.

They discussed emerging research on cognitive health, brain recovery, the gut-brain-immune connection, mitochondria, vagus nerve science, and evidence-based lifestyle and nutrition strategies to support long-term brain function and vitality.
