Peaceful Crossings In-Home Pet Euthanasia

Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness carry the most meaning.

A few weeks ago, my junior care coordinator, Felix, heard that his teacher’s beloved dog, Pepper, had passed away. His very first instinct was to help. He even asked if we could get her a new dog (which, while incredibly sweet, gave us a chance to talk about what people really need when they’re grieving).

But he didn’t stop there.

On his own, he came up with the idea to create a Lego mosaic of Pepper so his teacher would have something special to remember her by. He put so much thought and care into it.

Today was Kindness Day at his school. For his act of kindness, he made his classmates kindness themed goodie bags and presented his beloved teacher with the final product of the mosaic he made. She absolutely loved it.

I’m just really proud of the kind, compassionate human he’s becoming. The world could always use more hearts like his.
