The Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation has awarded a $9,500 grant to The Arc Lane County to help bring HealthBeat® outdoor fitness equipment to the Arc Park—an accessible and inclusive community park currently under construction in Springfield.

This equipment will be installed during the park’s final phase and is designed for people of all ages and abilities. It will allow parents and caregivers to stay active while children play nearby and provide youth and adults with disabilities a welcoming space to build strength, mobility, and overall wellness—outside of traditional gym settings.

More exciting things have been taking shape inside the Arc Park.

The cement truck returned, and the crew began pouring sections of the sidewalk that will wind through the final phase of the park. And, the finishing touches are being added to the new picnic pavilion. Isn't it pretty?
