It's been a tough week in Springfield, MO and our hearts go out to everyone affected by the storms. As we are processing claims we are receiving reports of non-local roofing contractors going door to door and asking property owners to sign contracts. We would strongly encourage you not to do this. Do your research, get recommendations from people you trust or wait for your Shelter adjustor to inspect your damages before you agree to any repairs or contracts. Unfortunately we've seen what can happen: unfinished jobs, really poor quality, or taking deposits and simply stealing the money and never finishing the job.
