Please like our chapter’s photo (by clicking the original post shared below) for the chance to win a contest put on by Rural Roads Co.! Their effort to support FFA chapters across Ohio each year is absolutely amazing!

Our FFA advisors, especially Mr. Collin Gierke, have had a profound and lasting impact on our chapter through their commitment to creating meaningful, high-quality experiences for every member. One of the most powerful examples of his influence is our chapter’s participation in the National FFA Convention.

As a chapter of over 600 members in a non-traditional school without access to district transportation (school busses), attending National Convention could easily become an opportunity limited to only a few students. However, Mr. Gierke has made it a priority to ensure that as many members as possible can take part in this life-changing experience. Through his leadership, our chapter organizes two one-day trips (each serving 50+ students) and a three day trip for about 30 additional members.

Coordinating three charter bus trips without school transportation requires significant planning and dedication. Mr. Gierke works to secure funding, organize logistics, and remove barriers so students can participate. Because of his efforts, more members gain access to leadership development, career exploration, and connection within the FFA organization.

His commitment to expanding opportunities for students reflects true servant leadership and continues to shape the strength and success of our chapter.
