2011 StrikeZone Fillies

Last weekend the girls played in our final fall tourney. They were 1-2 and are coming together to form a solid team.
Teanna was given the Fillies chain. She had an amazing weekend catching every inning behind the plate. She is a beast behind the dish We love to see the hard work she puts in.

Great job ladies. We cannot wait to see what you all do come this spring after we put the work in over the winter. Next up we will be at Wittenberg in December and Sinclair in January.

Go Fillies

The team played in their first fall tournament this weekend. They were Paw Patrol characters on Saturday and made the cutest Oscar the Grouch pumpkin for the conteat and smash We didn’t have the outcome we wanted going 1-2 but we will only improve. There were many positives this weekend and we were able to see a few areas where we need to put in a little more work. Bridgette and myself are both proud of the entire team. A huge thank you to Riley and Sophie for helping us out as we were short a couple girls.

A few highlights from the weekend.
Sophie was 3-5 with a great triple.
Anna went 3-5 with a 2 RBI double.
Carmen went 2-4 and lead the team with 5 RBIs
McKenna lead the team with 3 stolen bases.

In the circle
Sophie had 19Ks and an ERA of 1.75
Madi threw 79.55% strikes. She was hitting her spots this weekend.

Our opponents picked Anna as the MVP of game 1 and Sophie in game two.

What a great way to start off our season ladies. We are excited to see what you all do this year. Next weekend we will be in Tipp City.

Our last tournament is in the books. This has been the best group of girls and parents. It felt like a big old family from the start. They played their hearts out today against a really good 2nd year 14U team and truly made us coaches proud. We have a couple girls that have to move to 16U that will really be missed next year and we wish them luck on their new adventure. We cannot wait to see what these girls accomplish on a ball field in the future. 💙 🩵
