Recommendations for all you bosses…
Courses that really helped me learn more about makeup from sanitizing my tools, color theory wheel, learning different face shapes, etc. I use the app Skillshare which has so many free courses to take if you’re trying to become a makeup artist. It has everything you may need from application, color wheel, sanitizing, different face shapes, etc etc. I’ve learned so much from each course I’ve took and I still find myself on the app looking for other courses to expand my knowledge and perfect my craft to grow my business ✨. Names of the teachers that I took online courses from are Mira Metzler, Chelsie Baker. 10/10 recommend if you’re just starting out in the makeup field.
Another site I took online free courses from is Alison.com they give you a actual certificate after you finish the entire course! I love how detailed and well informed the course is & how they give you little quizzes to test your knowledge. One thing I want to point out they include informative videos as well! They also have other courses related to certain cosmetology courses such as bridal makeup, brow tinting, highlighting and contouring .

What’s in my makeup kit 💄
Excuse the dirty mess 🙄 I need to deep clean my makeup kit but as you can see this my little kit. There’s so much things I need to add it to but we will get there! Little by little.
It’s always important to keep a ton of certain pallets, lipsticks, lipgloss, eyebrow products, etc, it’s you. Always keep a vairety of different brands in your kit and many options for your clients who come to you and allow you to do their makeup.
These people come to YOU to not only get beautified but to feel confident, feel GOOD in their skin. They put trust in YOU once they click that “𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙆 𝙉𝙊𝙒” button and make the choice to pick you out of millions of people who may provide the same service as you!
