We are standing upon this statement in 2025.

Change isn't always easy or clean, it's real, raw, and built through struggle and sacrifice. Just like some of the battles fought in places like Afghanistan and Iraq, the fight for a better tomorrow requires determination, grit, and most importantly a belief in that progress.

At Project Healing Waters, we are not here to sugarcoat the fight that is often in front of us. We know that building a stronger community takes a lot of work. It requires people to move past barriers, the past, and for people to roll up their sleeves to work towards that end goal.

Our mission is to create a space where real healing takes place, whether you're a Veteran, a civilian, or someone who has weathered their own personal storm, we know that it takes everyone to make it work.

Everyday we draw strength from our shared experiences and the battles that we have overcome on and off the battlefield.

Let's keep pushing for a better community, embracing the hard days together, and remembering that it won't always be easy. But together as a tribe, we can break through to a better, more peaceful life.

What a GREAT veterans day we had fishing with the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing - Wichita, KS Program. At Roaring River State Park. The bite has been something amazing the last few days! Come on back when you can! You are always welcome in the Ozarks! Biggest fish gone to their Prorgam Lead Pat McCleave with I believe it was an 8 pounder....😳
