Calling all creatures of the night.
Auditions are now open for High Tide Theatrical’s 2026 production of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, directed by Joshua David Smith and Grace Billingsley.
We are seeking bold, prepared performers ages 18+ who are ready to bring strong vocals, sharp comedic instincts, confident movement, and full commitment to the world of Rocky Horror. This production requires performers who are comfortable with mature content, suggestive costuming, audience interaction, camp, q***r performance style, and the high-energy demands of a cult classic rock musical.
Performers of all body types, gender identities, gender expressions, races, ethnicities, and backgrounds are encouraged to submit. Previous stage experience is helpful, but confidence, preparation, presence, and a willingness to fully embrace the style of the show are essential.
Initial auditions are virtual only. There will be no in-person initial auditions for this production.
Audition submissions should include:
a brief introduction with your name
the title of the song you are performing and where it is from
approximately 32 bars of a song in the style of the show that showcases your vocal range, personality, and storytelling ability
Submissions are due Friday, August 21 at 5:00 PM CT.
Callbacks, if needed, will take place Sunday, August 30 at 12:00 PM.
The first cast meeting will be Monday, August 31.
All roles are available.
Bring us your weird. Bring us your bold. Bring us your full, unapologetic self.

MEET THE CAST: Patrick Schuster as Michael Novak
Patrick Schuster makes his High Tide Theatrical debut in God of Carnageas Michael Novak, Veronica’s husband — amiable and easygoing on the surface, but increasingly blunt and provocative as the evening spirals out of control.
Patrick’s recent credits include Come From Away, Jesus Christ Superstar, Into the Woods, and Noises Off with Springfield Little Theatre. He has also appeared in Lend Me a Tenor, Don’t Dress for Dinner, and Around the World in 80 Days with Springfield Contemporary Theatre.
On what drew him to God of Carnage, Patrick says: “The intimate setting of High Tide and the complex emotional range of the characters led me to audition.”
See Patrick Schuster as Michael Novak in God of Carnage, running July 23–25 at The Lightroom Lounge at Martha’s Vineyard.
