If you have already submitted your pre-employment application, please check your spam/junk email boxes to see if you have missed any emails from them. Once you have chosen a testing date, further instructions and time assignments will be forthcoming from the Illinois State Police Merit Board via that email approximately one week prior to your testing date. If you want to change your chosen testing date, you will need to go to www.illinoistrooper.com before the deadline to resubmit the pre-employment application.

To begin the application process for the Illinois State Police Trooper position and be considered for Cadet Class 154b: In-House Lateral Training Program, the Pre-Employment Form below must be completed by February 1, 2026.
