Rugby for All. West End for Life. — Established 1977.
Our year end celebration is always one of the best days of the year! All teams come together, from U6 to U19 and even our West End Old Boys! Skills competitions kick us off, followed by awards and recognizing our seniors. Then we played a friendly match against , and ended with the grand finale match of the HS boys team against the Old Boys. Three of our coaches are former West End players and it’s great to see them back on the field!

Eli Cuomo, recipient of the SYC Spirit Award for Rugby! Eli has been a rugby player since he was in fourth grade. He’s always been one of the hardest working players on and off the field, respectful to coaches, and protective of his teammates. The Cuomo’s have made such a positive impact on the team and the SYC community, organizing carpools and bringing positivity to the sideline. He’s a great representative of our program to every age group and across Virginia.
U19’s took third place this year for the state championship and looked good doing it!

Our U8’s placed third in the state championships! With six brand new rugby players and only 3 experienced players, this team grew considerably over the season and their hard work paid off!
