Classical guitarists DUO 220 (Adam Larison and Andrew Stroud) perform at the Cathedral of the Immaculat Conception, this coming Friday, October 4th at 7:00 PM. The concert is free and open to all.
DUO 220 performs a mixture of standards and lesser-known works in the guitar duo repertoire, inventive and effective transcriptions, and newly commissioned works by young composers. On Monday, July 29, classical guitarist Kyle Pieczynki will present the next performance in the Lincoln Library Monthly Classical Guitar Series. The free event begins at7:00pm and is open to the public.
Springfield’s public library (326 S. 7th Street) will be the site for this informal guitar performance series on the last Monday of every month, from 7:00 to 7:45pm. Each month will highlight a featured performer for about 20 minutes, followed by performances by a few students who sign up in advance.
The series will continue next month with a performance by Luke Krolikowski on August 26.

Join us on January 12 for a concert by violinist Kamen Petkov and classical guitarist Russel Brazzel. The performance begins at 8:00PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 2313 Whittier Avenue in Springfield, IL. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for students and seniors.
