Ever found yourself running from what God’s calling you to do? You’re not alone. Jonah tried to flee from God’s presence, sleeping in the bottom of a ship while a storm raged around him. He had the answer to save everyone on board, yet he remained silent and stubborn.

Here’s the wake-up call: The world around us is in chaos, crying out to false gods for salvation. We have the answer—we know the Creator of heaven and earth, the God who controls the seas. Yet too often, like Jonah, we sleep. We stay comfortable, insulated, silent.

God is calling us to wake up. To share the hope we have. To point people to the One who alone can rescue. Because here’s the truth: God’s presence is everywhere, His power is sovereign, and His love pursues us even in our disobedience. We can’t outrun Him, and we can’t save ourselves. Only He can rescue.
