I want to formally apologize for interrupting anyone's dinner that dined with us this evening.
I've been in this business for 20 years and have never felt physically threatened by a guest until tonight. Without going into explicit and vulgar detail I will briefly summarize that in an effort to make a guest happy, two employees were cursed at and one brought to tears and this is when I intervened to see if I could make the guest happy and help understand the situation. After being cursed at, accused, and then physically intimated once he stood up in my face, I asked him to please leave. I realized I wasn't going to make him happy and that him leaving was the best option. He called me names and I told him I'd call the police if he didn't leave, because at that point I was worried it was going to become physical.

I want to feel safe in my home and this restaurant is my home. I would very honestly do anything to make my guests happy. I want my guests to enjoy themselves fully and I am sorry there was a pause in tonight's service. I am a professional. I am a work mom through and through and would do anything to keep my staff happy and away from the receiving end of pure negativity or misguided anger. I take pride in ensuring everyone that comes in has a beautiful experience. Ive been yelled at in this industry, I've spoke with unhappy guests and talked thru things, but this was a first and really rattled me and I'm sorry for that.
