A Day in the Life as a Can Counter: As the only person customers engage with when entering the redemption, you will help count and sort thousands of cans and bottles a day, helping keep our environment clean and healthy by recycling their cans and bottles in a closed-loop recycling system. With each customer you serve, you will literally help reduce the carbon footprint of waste and keep the environment clean by reducing waste along roadsides, in rivers and streams, fields, and oceans! It’s like Green Up Day every day!
Qualifications to be a Can Counter: No special skills are required, but some requirements mean you have the potential to be a great counter:
Cash handling
Caring attitude
Detail-oriented
Good communication
