Long time no see!!

To catch you up to speed ➡️

We took a 10 day Europe trip at the end of July, it was such a good trip but Indie was sick the whole time we were there- so this mama did not enjoy herself too much ☹️

We flew from Barcelona 👉🏽 Chicago and got back to Springfield around 8pm Saturday, had enough time to shower and change before heading to the hospital to stay with Indie 🥺

We were finally discharged from the hospital Monday and we are FINALLY enjoying being home together 🏡

Needless to say I’m a bit behind on editing so bear with me as I mentally stabilize, being on the other side of the world while your special needs kid is hospitalized is NOT FUN 😅

The school year starts soon, and with it being my first year teaching I am mentally prepping myself for the chaos 😅

Hey friends, been a minute!!

Finishing up some sweet sessions today, staying busy and having such a fun summer 🥰

Some of you may already know, but I will be teaching jr high & high school art this fall! Coming out of graduation this spring, I really wasn’t sure what my next step would be— but it seems to have all worked itself out and I’m super excited to start this new chapter and share all that I know in the arts!! 🥲

Full time first year teaching is A LOT of planning and A LOT of work, and I will be adding that to my already full time photography.

My fall weekends are essentially already full, as this is my biggest wedding season yet (whoop whoop!)

I will be severely limiting my fall sessions just simply because there isn’t enough hours in the day. I also need room for my own family, especially my son, and to get to enjoy the fall season myself.

NOW is the time to book a fall session with me!! When I say my schedule is filling up, I mean it’s FILLING UP 😅

This “little” photography business has opened so many doors for me, it allowed me to go to school and stay home with my special needs son— I’ve been able to take incredible international trips and have holidays off with my family— seriously what an amazing journey it has been.

I will always be a photographer to some capacity, but I’m not even sure what the next year or two will look like for me! Thanks for being here and helping me grow. What a dream.
