Congratulations to the Spring 2026 Tech Launch cohort who graduated on Tuesday, June 23rd. Dr. M. V. Lee Badgett, Chief Economist and Founding Partner of Koppa LGBTI+ Economic Power Lab and Professor Emeritx of Economics at UMass Amherst served as keynote speaker. Jean Corbin and
Appolonia Saraci were elected by their peers as class representatives. The event took place at the Community Music School of Springfield.

Before Tech Foundry: average income ~$13,000 a year. After graduation: average starting salary ~$40,000.

Today, the Tech Launch Class of 2026 earns their alumni status.

Apollonia Saraci has been doing nail artistry for years. It's the kind of work that looks effortless from the outside and is anything but — every set a problem to solve, every client different, the margin between good and exceptional visible only to the person holding the brush.

She applied to Tech Launch two days before the deadline, expectations tucked away. Just in case.

She didn’t anticipate that she would recognize herself in the program. The same attention to detail. The same standard. The same quiet refusal to leave something at good enough. By week nine she was attending job-hunting sessions that weren't mandatory yet, and explaining raspberry pi configurations to her family at home.

Tomorrow, she graduates.
