Our Story

Whether you are planning a convention, celebration or meeting, the Springfield Expo Center is uniquely able evolve to your needs. Located in Jordan Valley Park in downtown Springfield, the Expo Center provides 112,000 square feet of contiguous space with a 35-foot ceiling that is able to adapt to your vision. We are able to provide a gamut of services including: lighting, sound, staging, concessions, and catering. A 977-space parking garage is adjacent to the facility and the beautiful University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center is right across the street.
The Expo Center plays host to trade shows, conventions, and sporting events and offers a wide array of configurations for exhibits, as well as seven breakout meeting rooms.
University Plaza Hotel oversees every event and our experienced event planners ensure that every detail is taken care of, making your event unique and special. If you are expecting guests to travel to your event, group room rates are available.
