The Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault has a two-fold purpose: to alleviate the suffering of sexual assault victims and to prevent sexual violence.
For college students, the fall is full of new beginnings - new classes, new friends and new freedoms. It's also a period of increased risk of sexual assault known as the "Red Zone", the weeks between August and Thanksgiving break. Over half of all sexual assaults occur during this time. Watch the video below for more information. Everyone deserves a safe campus.
