AITA for “incorrectly” feeding my friend’s nephew while babysitting?

My (23F) friend (24F) is babysitting her nephew (8M) for the weekend, and she received a last minute invite to a party, so she asked me if I could watch him at my apartment for a few hours.

I said sure, and I told her to have him eat dinner beforehand or to send him with money so I can order him food. I watched him once before and had to buy him dinner, and she did not Venmo me for the food until a month later!

She dropped him off, but she didn’t leave any money for me to buy him food, since she is waiting for her family to reimburse her with money. She instead brought a box of rice from her sister’s house (her nephew’s mom), where she has been staying with the boy. She said he loves plain white rice.

I told her I don’t cook, so I don’t know why she brought me food to cook for the boy. But she said it will be fine and will only take me 2 minutes. Then she left me with the boy.
