Governor's Institutes Summer Arts and Academics Programs

Who are your school's varsity-level thinkers, doers and creators? This summer, the Governor's Institutes of Vermont has nine Institutes with 36 accelerated learning topics to let students pursue their interests in depth and explore potential careers. These residential, scholarship-supported, PLP-friendly programs bring 500 students from throughout the state together on seven VT college campuses. Students can choose between a new Astronomy Institute housed at Lyndon State, a new Young Writer's Institute at Bennington College, four STEM Institutes, a Global Issues Institute, Entrepreneurship, or the renowned 32-year-old Arts Institute that alumna Grace Potter says "changed my life".
