Everyday I choose Veterinary Medicine. Not because of my love for medicine, and not because of my love for animals, but because I have the opportunity to reunite pets to their loved ones in a better condition than when they arrived. I will forever cherish the moments of nursing them day after day, having the opportunity to help them heal, and watching their happiness and personality return. But by far, my favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is reuniting them with their owners. Nothing can replace the smile and tears of relief as owners embrace what they worried would be lost.
