Good To Go - Meals That Matter

Our Story

Good To Go was founded as a mobile soup kitchen to distribute free and healthy to-go meals to the unsheltered community in Springfield, Missouri.

This 501(c)(3) organization was founded in December 2016 with the simple mission in mind: Find and feed the hungry.

"Our goal is to feed people through collaboration and providing a helping hand up.” - Denise Berg Johnson, Founder.

We currently distribute Emergency Meal Kits which include: a Bumble Bee Tuna or Chicken Salad kit, fruit, a protein or dairy snack item, and a bottle of water. Our Meals That Matter program provides boxed meal kits containing fun, fast, and kid-friendly menus and ingredients that can be prepared at home, similar to the “Blue Apron” or “Hello Fresh” meal concept.
