When we arrived at Saint Michael’s Cemetery on Wednesday night we were taken aback by the lack of flags that had been taken care of; normally we take on this honor the weekend before. (It’s been a busy spring camping/scouting
I think it’s been 7 weekends in a row !)
Usually between Us, MGM & the ROTC of Spfld High Schools the cemetery is pretty well taken care of for flags for Veterans Graves.
I do not know what happened nor who didn’t show up to do their part,
What I do know is, is that our Boys did show up and they checked well over 2,000 graves to place flags to honor our fallen heroes.
And Once again as the Scoutmaster of Tr49
I cannot express how much I am truly Thankful for the group of young men I get to work alongside with.
