FROGGY 44 – Kiefer Compact Tribute to Mel Walker
This Saturday Night at Cottage Grove Speedway!
It's one of the most anticipated Sport Compact races of the season as drivers battle for the Froggy 44 Tribute to Mel Walker with a unique format and a $1444 payday to the winner!

Please note that this is an IMCA sanctioned race and all cars must conform to the IMCA rule package and be registered.

🏁 Event Format
✅ Pill Draw determines heat race lineups
✅ Each heat race group will group qualify in order. Heat race and hot lap groups will remain the same.
✅ 6-Car Invert for all heat races.
⚠️ Drivers who miss hot laps in their assigned group will:
• Start at the rear of their heat race
• Lose qualifying bonus points
• Not earn passing points during the heat race
🔥 Heat Race Points
Heat races use the ASCS passing point system plus qualifying bonus points:
🥇 1st Qualifier – 15 Bonus Points
🥈 2nd – 12 Bonus Points
🥉 3rd – 8 Bonus Points
4th – 5 Bonus Points
🏆 Feature Lineups
• Top 16 in points advance directly to the A Main.
• Ties are broken by qualifying speed.
• Top 8 redraw for starting positions in the A Main.
• Drivers 17th on back line up by points for the B Main.
• Top 4 transfer from the B Main to the A Main.
Heat Race Format
• 17 cars or less: 2 Heat Races
• 18–23 cars: 3 Heat Races
• 24–32 cars: 4 Heat Races
• 33+ cars: 5 Heat Races
B Mains
• 17–32 Cars: One B Main (Top 4 Transfer)
• 33+ Cars: Two B Mains (Top 2 from each Transfer)
