We are going to have a great fair.

We know there’s been a lot of conversation surrounding the new health protocols for the Clark County Fair, and we understand that many of you have questions. We wanted to share what we know in hopes of easing some concerns and helping everyone feel confident going into fair week.

‼️ At this time, there have been no recently reported cases of EHV-1 or EHV-4 in the Greater Miami Valley Area‼️

We have been in contact with local and state veterinary professional resources, and based on the information currently available, we are recommending the standard biosecurity practices that should be followed at any horse show or event.

The additional requirements for this year’s fair were established by the Champions Center. The Clark County 4-H Board reached out to ask if we could assist in meeting these requirements.

As strong supporters of youth equestrian programs and local horse shows, Gem City Equine is happy to assist in any way we can to provide peace of mind and help ensure our kids have the opportunity to participate safely.

We encourage everyone to work together, practice good biosecurity, and enjoy a safe and successful fair season.
