Bring a Blick Retail Store to the Springfield area

Just got my honorarium check from Missouri Arts Council....wish I had a Blick store close enough to spend it all!

Getting some traffic and support. Now to get this moving. Send a physical letter? (You know, old school) to the company. Headquarters are:

Use any of the verbiage I have or make up your own. I think they will pay attention to a letter over an email.
Anyone a professor of art ?at any of the colleges and/or Universities. A letter from a gallery. Laura Inglesbe.? FFAW members?
You would carry more weight.
How about Sara Abele with SRAC.?? Or Tracy Livingston Bruton (Studio 55), or Sharon K. Cates Visual Arts Alliance of Springfield?

Ten reasons to have a Blick Retail store in the Springfield area!!
+1 With more than a dozen local colleges and universities, Springfield, Missouri, is very much a thriving city with a focus on higher education. With a variety of local options, Springfield is a hub for academic pursuit, attracting nearly 45,000 students annually.
+2 There is no local competition. The only art store (National Art Shop) closed after 50 years and nothing has replaced it. It was the only art store that you could consistently get high quality, name-brand art supplies and was a consistent supplier for the art departments at the local colleges.
+3 Michael's (1 store) and Hobby Lobby (2 stores) are your only competition and they have eliminated most name- brands and replaced them with their house brands, Artist Loft and Masters Touch..
+4 Artist Loft and Masters Touch are inferior products, made cheaper in China and, though fine for children or students, they cannot produce or behave for the many professional artists in the area as the quality name brands that Blick has available.
+5 There is not a true art store in the area. It is a drive of over 2.5 hours to Kansas City, 3.5 for St Louis. There are none in Oklahoma, Kansas or Arkansas! That makes Southwest MO- South Eastern Kansas, all of Arkansas and Oklahoma an art supply desert!! Our only option is to order online.
+6When we order online, we have more choices and you have more competition. With a physical store in the area, most would go to the store, rather than have to wait for materials to arrive.

+9 With a physical store, customers could take advantage of the "in-store" specials and flash sales!! and use the Blick loyalty card!

+10 Taxes are really low here in Springfield and the area towns. Most in the area would be excited to work with you to establish a new business!!

You would certainly make the lives of many artists here so much better by establishing a physical store in the area!!!
