The Water Blob

POV: I'm a Water Blob® and today is the first day of camp.

I've been waiting all year for this.

The buses are rolling in, counselors are pretending they have everything under control, and somewhere a kid is already asking when they get to jump on me.

By the end of the day, I'll have launched future cannonball champions, created a few lifelong memories, and probably heard "WATCH THIS!" more times than should be legally possible.

Summer has officially begun. ☀️💦

After spending all winter folded up in storage, today I finally got unrolled back into the sunshine.

The birds are chirping. The lake’s waking up. Somebody already asked, “Think it still launches good?”

Brother, I’ve been waiting months for this.

A few hours in the sun, some fresh air, and soon I’ll be sending teenagers, dads, and at least one overly confident uncle into low earth orbit all summer long.

Nature is healing.

POV: I’m just floating peacefully at the lake minding my own business… then 6 grown adults start sprinting toward me like medieval siege weapons.

One second later, somebody’s airborne, a child is screaming with joy, and a dad just pulled a hamstring trying to “get more bounce.”

I didn’t choose this life. I was engineered for it.
