Hello Western Massachusetts,

Domain Coordinators are elected for one year terms, and a new election must be run at the end of that term or when an officer steps down. I want to thank Joshua Smith for his service, which has now ended. This notice begins the mandatory election process for a new Western Mass DC.

This announcement is the All Call for the position of Domain Coordinator for Western Mass (MA-005-D). This all-call is open from now until April 4/13 at 11:59:59 pm EST. Please fill out the Google Form no later than that.

While these times may be extended to deal with any issues that arise or problems that come up, the projected timeline for the election is:

April 6 to April 13, 2023 for the Application Period
April 14 to April 21, 2023 for the Review with Q&A Period
April 22 to April 29, 2023 for the Voting Period

Important Note: In order to be considered for the DC position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid current membership
- Valid membership in the constituency (MA-005-D)
- Demonstrated ability to follow all requirements in the application process
- Completed Membership and Coordinator Standards, or a stated intention to complete within thirty days. (Currently waived until new standards are available)

General Coordinator Responsibilities can be found on Page 52 of the MES Membership Handbook. Specific Additional Responsibilities for a Domain Coordinator are:

- Specific authority — May deliver Notices of Guidance, Immediate Corrective Actions and some Disciplinary Actions (after conducting an investigation) to players within their jurisdiction, to address MES policy violations. May award up to MC 8 after prestige review and refer disciplinary issues to the Regional Coordinator for investigation.

- Required responsibilities — Track active members and expirations, track member prestige, file on-time monthly reports, coordinate domain events and locate sites for said events, handle arbitrations and serve as investigating officer in some disciplinary action processes, preside over at least one sanctioned event during the month, award prestige to CC & VST, and respond to any open investigations at their level.

- MC Loan upon being elected MC +2 up to MC 11.

- Term - 1 year
