St. Michael's Cathedral, Springfield, MA

This summer the organ pipes in the cathedral are going to be cleaned and revoiced. Notice in two of the photos some long pipes are bent. They must be fixed. Austin Organs of Hartford is in charge of the restoration and renovation project. The organ will be100 years old in 2028. The Cathedral organs have 6100 pipes and is the largest in Western Mass. The organ restoration committee consists of John Korona, Chair; Jacob Broer, Cathedral Organist; Ashly Duplessis, Director; Mary Jeanne Tash and our rector Very Rev. Gary Daily.
