LaTonia Monroe Naylor - School Committee

Today was a historic day in the City of Springfield.

I was sworn in for my third term on the Springfield School Committee, and I’m truly grateful for the continued confidence of the people of this city.

I began this work because of my children and my love for education. Seeing what’s possible when educators and parents partner—and watching a school move from Level 4 to Blue Ribbon—affirmed why this work matters.

Congratulations to my colleagues Gumersindo Gomez, Jr., Ayanna Crawford, and Rosa Valentin, and continued appreciation to Barbara Gresham and Denise Hurst for their leadership and service.

Honored to serve and ready to continue advocating for our students and supporting our educators.
