Church clean up day two! Look at all the progress we’ve made lately! We want to give a special thanks to David and Glenda who later yesterday evening worked on the east chapel wall flower beds and cleaned up the w**ds…that was a significant job! Sarah, Stephanie, Julia & Pastor Keith and helped clean up the east side of the court yard between the parking lot and sidewalk that Rodger started yesterday. As this is a huge ongoing project, we will take a break next week and be back the following week. If you have a green thumb (or brown thumb 👍 like Pastor Keith)…come and join the Summer Clean-up Crew! We are thankful for our village!

Just a reminder that we are open again today...join us in our nice and cool Wittenberg Hall (Fellowship Hall) at First Lutheran Church and beat the heat. You can also come and chat with our Pastor, play a game of cards, build a puzzle...or bring your favorite reading material. Open til 8 p.m. again today!

In light of this week's Heat Advisory, First Lutheran Church (Springfield, Ohio)'s Wittenberg Hall (Fellowship Hall) will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., June 29th-July 2nd, 2026, as a temporary cooling shelter. We will assess plans for Friday, July 3rd, later in the week. Please contact the church office from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily for more information.
