Southern Missouri Professional Firefighters Announce April Endorsements

Springfield, MO – March 7, 2025 – The Southern Missouri Professional Firefighters are proud to announce our endorsements for the upcoming April 8th elections. After careful consideration, we have chosen to support candidates who share our commitment to public safety, education, and the well-being of our community.

For Springfield City Council, General Seat A, we proudly endorse Heather Hardinger. Heather has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the safety and prosperity of Springfield. Her leadership, vision, and proven dedication to our community make her the best choice for this role.

For the Springfield Public Schools (SPS) Board of Education, we are endorsing Gail Smart and Sarah Hough. Both candidates have shown a deep passion for education, student success, and the betterment of our schools. Their leadership and advocacy will help ensure a strong and thriving future for our students and educators.

Our endorsements are based on each candidate’s track record, vision, and alignment with the values that matter to our members and the community we serve.
