Springfield College Department of Social Work

The Department of Social Work's assistant faculty member, Christine Tronnier, PhD, LICSW, LADC I and Director of Practicum Education, Laura Krishnan-Mackie, MSW, LICSW were invited to present about LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirming health and mental health care for a class in the Social Work Department at the Hellenic Mediterranean University located in Heraklion, Greece. They were inspired by the conversation that ensued about the opportunities for, and barriers to, LGBTQIA+ inclusion in Greece, and also by the incredible changemakers they met during their presentation!

At yesterday's faculty retreat, Dr. Joseph Wronka was celebrated by faculty and staff for his service to Springfield College & the social work department for the past 32 years! Dr. Wronka, you will be sorely missed. Wishing you utmost joy on your next adventure!
