Ladies, don’t forget CWC is meeting this Sunday to create Easter blessing bags. They will meet right after church and a light lunch will be provided.
We’re not preaching about hell to scare people but out of love. We’re magnifying Christ and the need for his rescue. Sharing the Gospel - sin & grace, love & wrath - is so big because it’s the one decision that determines someone’s eternity.
It’s not about guilt but preparation. There’s an urgency to sharing and receiving the Gospel. It’s not something to continue to put off when eternity is on the line. Don’t let pride and ego get in the way of the most important decision.

In Mark 9:43-47, Jesus told his disciples that if their hands, feet, or eyes cause them to sin, it would be better to cut them off than go to hell. This is a holy warning to them, and to us. A warning to take our sin seriously.
Jesus is talking in hyperbole here. It’s not about actually cutting off our hands or feet, it’s about cutting out the things that are causing us to sin. What are we doing, where are we going, what are we looking at that is leading us to sin?
We have to be intentional about resisting sin. If we’re not, it will lead to hurting ourselves and others. Because sin doesn’t only affect us, it affects those we’re around also. And Jesus is calling us to lead others to righteousness, not to sin.
