Safe Babies Court was proud to host Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) training at today’s special Community Action Team meeting!

We had a great turnout with collaborators from Robertson County CASA, Open Door Pregnancy Center, DCS, and court staff all coming together to strengthen how we serve children and families.

A special thank you to Jennifer Sanders and Dr. Rachel Peterson for bringing this impactful, evidence-based training to our community. We appreciate your commitment to making a difference!

Thank you to the amazing group of passionate community members that came to the Robertson County Community Action Team meeting today.

We had a great turn out from churches, DCS, agencies, attorneys and those looking to help build a brighter future for kids in care and th families that support them!

We heard from Tennessee Kids Belong and CarePortal Tennessee and learned how to become a more foster friendly community! We also got to cheer for a member of the team that finalized her adoption yesterday!

It was a great day to be apart of! See you all April 10th for our next meeting!

When we encounter a child, we get to choose if we will be a positive childhood experience for them or an adverse childhood experience. The effects can be impactful through well into adulthood. There is a lot of research on 7 key experiences a child can have that will impact their mental and physical health for the rest of their life.

Here are the 7 experiences that can impact them for good! Robertson County is blessed to have community members that have looked for ways to bless children and families during this Christmas season. Thank you from all of us at Robertson County Safe Baby Court!

Safe Baby Court loves the work Isaiah 117 House Robertson TN does for children in our community. It was great to stop by and see how adorable they have the house decorated for Christmas for all the children going through such a hard time. We love that in this hard world, Isaiah 117 is a soft place to land.
