THE WORTHY BREWFEST lineup is here 🍻
Introducing the 2026 breweries (for now 😉)... aka the ones who earned their spot. From hometown favorites to must-try pours, every brewery you see on this list is officially Worthy.
Get ready to sip, sample, and discover your new favorite beer on June 27th.
Who are you most excited to try? 👇
Some of the best ideas start the simplest way - over a drink.
Back in 2010, Jeffrey Goulet and former Smith’s Billiards bartender Jim Trainor were doing just that... having a brew and throwing around an idea:
“Wouldn’t it be great to host our own BrewFest?”
That “what if” quickly turned into “why not?”
With a few encouraging yeses from the Keith Weppler & Keith Makarowski (co-owners of Theodores' Booze, Blues, and BBQ and Smiths Billiards), the wheels were set in motion. After researching brewfests across the country, they built something intentional, something curated… something Worthy.
And that’s exactly how Worthy BrewFest got its name.
From the start, this wasn’t just another beer festival. It was about bringing together the best craft brewers — those deemed “Worthy” — and creating an experience rooted in community, quality, and a shared love of craft beer.
They didn’t stop there.
The addition of a home brewer competition gave aspiring brewers a platform to shine, putting their creations in front of a live audience. Attendees vote, and the winner earns something truly special: the opportunity to collaborate with a local brewery to bring their beer to life.
That’s how you grow a craft culture.
Now, 16 years later, the tradition continues — but with a new chapter.
In 2026, the Springfield Business Improvement District (Springfield Downtown) has taken on stewardship of the festival to ensure it not only continues, but evolves.
This year, for the first time, the festival moves from Worthington Street to The Landing at the MassMutual Center, a new setting that allows us to elevate the experience while honoring everything that made it special in the first place.
Because at its core, THE WORTHY BREWFEST has always been about more than beer.
It’s about ideas. It’s about community. It’s about taking something small, and building something lasting.
And we’re proud to carry that forward.
Cheers to tradition — and what’s next.
