π When asked who has been a big role model and supporter in her life, Maya shared that her mom has been her biggest support system. She described her mom as her βpancreas,β helping her through her Type 1 diabetes and always being there for her throughout her journey. ππβ¨
π©βπ« Maya also spoke about the impact of her former volleyball coach, Ms. Jasmine, who was like a second mother to her. She helped Maya manage her emotions, grow both on and off the court, and always provided support during challenging moments. ππβ¨

β‘π§π Congrats to Zain Knox from Parkview High School, winner of a $2,000 scholarship to MTIβs Welding Program! ππ§β‘
Zain is ready to turn welding into a full-time career close to home. His interest in the trade connects closely with the time he has spent working on cars with his dad, who has been a mechanic since he was Zainβs age. That hands-on experience helped him see how welding could become part of his future. πͺπ₯
His dad has been a major role model, sharing skills, spending time with him in the garage, and helping him build confidence through work they could do together. During high school, Zain learned that when he is passionate about something, his motivation and work ethic become even stronger. πβ¨
With this scholarship, Zain can keep building on that passion and take the next step toward a welding career that fits his skills and interests. π
Keep that motivation going, Zain. Youβve already found the kind of work that lights a spark! π₯π
