Golden Ave Baptist Church

Pastor Jeff brought a challenging message from Matthew 7:13-14, reminding us that the road leading to Christ is a narrow one. We were encouraged to fully commit our lives to the Lord instead of trying to keep one foot in the world and one foot in Christianity. As Pastor Jeff illustrated, trying to live that way will only leave you "doing the splits."

One quote from today's message that really stood out was: "This faith walk ain't no cake walk." – Pastor Jeffrey Stoneking

We also celebrated as two ladies were baptized this morning by pastor Andy! What a joy it is to witness lives being changed and to rejoice alongside those taking this important step of obedience!

As a church family, we'd also appreciate your prayers. Please pray that God will continue to provide for Golden Avenue Baptist Church, give wisdom in every decision, and bless the work being done for His kingdom. We know He is faithful, and we're trusting Him every step of the way.

A long week of revival wasn't going to stop us from continuing to make an impact for the Kingdom!

Today, we had the privilege of serving alongside Scott and Melissa Gilmore, Calvary Baptist Church in Harrison, Arkansas, and Pastor Seth and the team from Lenexa Baptist Church.

What an incredible day! More than 370 people came through, and, most importantly, two people surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ! There is no greater reason to celebrate than seeing lives transformed by the Gospel.

Every person got a chance to get a free eye exam and glasses, free groceries, complimentary lunch, haircut, car wash, and a whole lot of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who traveled, served, loved on people, and faithfully shared the hope of Christ. It's a blessing to partner with churches that are committed to reaching their communities.
