Just in time for Mother's Day we have a fresh batch of Amos Candle Co. candles in two scents, the brand-new Abyssinia jasmine (think fresh floral with lilac and jasmine notes) and our most popular scent, Ethiopian spice. With the proceeds we plan to purchase a team of horses to plow Amos' family farm in Kino, Ethiopia and he has already named the horses injera and wat (like burger and fries in American cuisine). These horses will be a huge blessing to Melkamu and you get the benefit of a 100% soy candle that will burn 60+ hours for only $15 each. Message me with how many you would like and I can do a porch drop-off this week or ship them if necessary. I only have 120 candles so let me know quickly if you would like them and stock up as the next make will be Christmas! We are so sad that we will not be able to host our annual holiday open house this year due to the current pandemic. We do however have some of our Amos Candle Co. 100% soy candles that we will be offering for either delivery or porch pickup if you would like to give them as gifts. These have 60+ hours of burn time and come in four scents; ethiopian spice, macchiato, anything but vanilla and new this year, o christmas tree. Just message or text me and we can setup payment and pickup or delivery. The sale of these candles will go to support Amos' birth family in Gondar that is currently experiencing a civil war. The airport we fly in to in order to visit his family was recently bombed and their future is very uncertain right now so I am sure some financial support will be very much appreciated. It has been a long time in the making but just in time for gift giving season we have the Amos Candle Co.! These are hand poured soy candles with a cotton + paper wick and support our family in Ethiopia with university, a new house and hopefully a better life. They have 60+ burn hours and are $15 in macchiato, ethiopian spice, anything but vanilla and two wise men [frank + myrrh] special for Christmas.
