And, they want to keep their jobs–they have bills to pay. So they are forced to side with the schools when in their hearts they really know that the child isn’t receiving what they need."..

And if you keep your child home, you risk truancy charges. I don’t know if this is an example of the system being stacked against parents, but I felt it is worth mentioning.
