🐾 Rusty is a sensitive soul and it can take him some time to come out of his shell. When he does, his sweet personality shines. He loves treats, affection, and has a soft spot for a good wand toy.

Rusty has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). It's a cat-only virus and does not affect people or dogs.
FIV+ cats most often live long, healthy, and relatively normal lives with no symptoms at all. FIV is not easily passed between cats. If you're looking to add an FIV+ cat to your home and you currently have cats that are not FIV+ please speak with your vet.

🐾 Harry is a one-year-old boy and he’s looking for a job. He’s a very smart cat and needs mental stimulation to keep that brain busy. At the shelter, he has enjoyed meals in puzzle feeders for an extra challenge. Our staff even began clicker training sessions with Harry and he has quickly learned how to sit, sit pretty, spin, and more. He’s working on perfecting his high-fives.

The adoption center is open Tuesday - Saturday from 12:30 - 3:00 at 171 Union St, Springfield. Stop by to meet Rusty, Harry, and all available animals!
