The Anti-SS-A (Ro) ELISA test is used to detect the presence of IgG class autoantibodies against SS-A (52 and 60 kDa) in the blood. These autoantibodies are associated with connective tissue diseases (CTD), a group of autoimmune disorders that are characterized by the presence of antinuclear antibodies (ANA) in the blood. ANA are a specific class of autoantibodies that can bind and destroy certain structures within the nucleus of cells and are involved in the disease process. The Anti-SS-A (Ro) ELISA test is an enzyme-linked immune reaction that uses purified SS-A (52 and 60 kDa) to detect the presence of these autoantibodies. The test is used to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of CTD, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and is often used in conjunction with clinical diagnosis and other ANA subtyping tests. The results of the test are reported as a quantitative measurement of the autoantibodies in the blood.

Micro-Albumin ELISA is a diagnostic test that measures the amount of a protein called albumin in urine. It's used by healthcare professionals and is based on an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method. In this test, albumin is bound to microwells and mixed with calibrators, controls, and urine samples, along with an anti-albumin-peroxidase conjugate. This test helps measure the difference between glomerular protein and tubular plasma protein, where elevated levels of albumin in urine can be a sign of kidney damage or disease.
