With its unique design, it might look a little like Wall-E 🤖, but it’s actually one of the most advanced tools we use to evaluate peripheral vision and monitor eye health.

The TEMPO is a newer-generation visual field machine that helps us evaluate your peripheral (side) vision and detect changes that may not be noticeable in everyday life.

This advanced technology helps us:

A lensometer is used to measure the prescription in your glasses. This allows us to verify your lenses and compare your existing prescription to any changes in your vision.

The lensometer helps us:
✔️ Determine the prescription in your glasses
✔️ Verify the accuracy of new lenses
✔️ Compare old and new prescriptions
✔️ Troubleshoot vision concerns with existing eyewear

This quick but important step helps ensure your glasses are providing the vision correction you need and gives us valuable information during your eye exam.

Fireworks are a favorite Fourth of July tradition, but they can also cause serious eye injuries in an instant.

This Independence Day:
🎇 Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
