IHDN Mission Activities

Please join us on Friday June 5, 2026 for the Annual 13th "Bringing the World Together" Fundraiser Banquet from 5:30 pm-8:30pm. It will be an evening of culture and live entertainment, delicious food, as we celebrate our cultural differences. All funds will go towards support of the Women & Children Health Center, Surgery, Cancer Care and Pathology Labarotary Expansions. Dear All,
We were a 13-member team and at this time, seven (7) of us are heading back to the United States today, Friday, February 20, 2026.
We are happy to note that the IHDN Health & Development High School Enrichment Program was a successful as well the biomedical training sessions. During our time there, the medical staff saw
1500 patients. This year more patients came from out of town, some as far as the capital, Accra.
The hospital staff is experiencing a stagnant growth right now. We have increased our staff but not enough to offset the work-load, which have increased exponentially.

We were able to finish the windows at the Women & Children Wards in Wagbato. We plan to open the wards by the end of the year. It was fun spending time with the elementary students as they eat a delicious lunch of chicken and rice, a rare treat.
We plan to start seeing patients by the end of the year, once we get a committed Midwife to run the wards.

We were audited during our time in Ghana. E.P. Church International Mission Hospital. Then on Wednesday, we received great news: “Congratulations for being the 3rd best institution clinically in the municipal area and best hospital among the 25 hospitals in the Ketu North district.”
We’ll like to congratulate our hard-working, dedicated staff for the wonderful work that they are doing to make our patients live longer in this community. May their service be as unto the good Lord.

Yesterday,our team had a wonderful trip to the Aburi Gardens. We had a fantastic time being guided by Mr. Paul Nabil. (Please keep an eye out for my blog on my trip to Aburi Gardens).
It is now 5:30 pm, Ghana time. We just had a delicious meal, served by Auntie Grace. We’re heading out to the Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana bound for Amsterdam and then to Chicago, IL tomorrow, by God’s grace!
